About the episode

TCT 2025 - Sub-anlysis findings showed positive safety and efficacy outcomes of the PASCAL Precision system in degenerative mitral regurgitation (DMR) patients.

Dr P Kasi Ramanathan (Promedica Toledo Hospital, US) joins us on-site at TCT 2025 to share the findings from a sub-analysis looking at the affect of implant location and leaflet lesion location on the safety and effectiveness of the PASCAL Precision system in DMR.

Sub-anlysis findings showed that the PASCAL Precision system caused an equal reduction in MR in both non-central and central locations at 30 days, with low rates of adverse events in both cohorts.

Interview Questions:
1. What is importance of this analysis?
2. Can you briefly tell us about the study device?
3. Could you outline the study design, patient population, primary outcome measures, and key findings?
4. Did clinical outcomes differ based on implant location or leaflet lesion type?
5. Were there any differences in outcomes related to operator experience or procedural learning curve?
6. From your perspective as an operator, how has the PASCAL Precision System performed in patients with degenerative MR?
